Technical Specifications
TCC-28 is an automatic pipe cutting station with many options. Cutting range 4.76 – 22 mm (0.06” –1.125”) for copper and aluminum and max. It is 10 mm (0.39”). The system has the ability to change the cutting length fully automatically with an integrated batch production management system. The material can be fed from several types of unwinding systems.
When cutting different lengths, it is practical to use a routing table to separate the lengths. Different guiding tables are available to work with maximum cutting lengths from 2,000 mm to 6,000 mm (78” to 236”).
Vertical double coil holder or vertical coil holder and pipe rectifier are used when cutting from coil. The advantage of the dual coil holder is fast changeover time; one coil is cut while the other can be changed without interrupting the production.
Depending on the diameter of the pipe, either 7+7 or 9+9 straightening rollers are used in the straightening process. T-DRILL has given special attention to the easy adjustment of the rollers and their changing speed. In addition to the adjusters with digital display, there are changing mechanisms where the rectifier rollers can be changed without the use of tools.
The machine can automatically change the cutting length with a repeating accuracy of +/- 0.1 mm (+/- 0.0039″). The cutting length will be programmed into a touch screen panel. It is also easy to diagnose the causes of possible error conditions using the panel.
direct cutting method is the most basic method of cutting pipes with rotary cutting discs for 30 mm (XX) cut lengths or with certain equipment for longer lengths. The method can be used where some narrowing of the inside diameter is acceptable.

With this feature, secondary operations are easier to carry out as the cutting quality is generally good enough without deburring and chamfering of the pipe ends. The method also allows easy chaining of different processes such as cutting + pipe end forming/bending.
Superior production speed The TCC-28 is an ideal solution for automatic cutting of small diameter pipes. When cutting a tube from a coil it is even possible to make 3,500 cuts per hour while maintaining high cutting quality.
