ND-54 Pipe Mouth Notching Device

The T-DRILL ND-54 Pipe Bevel Notching Device is used to cut branch pipe necks and create slots to provide the best possible flow characteristics.

The ND-54 is a natural complement to the T-DRILL T-bracket forming system. To ensure full flow, it cuts a crescent-shaped die from both sides of the branch and simultaneously presses it into a slot on the side of the T-bend, which acts like a depth wedge. A second slot, 6 mm higher, acts as a checkpoint. The result is an inspectable soldered joint with the best possible flow characteristics.

For the following branch pipe sizes: 12, 14–16, 18, 22, 28, 35, 42 and 54 mm and corresponding inch sizes: ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½” & 2”.
