The collar opening range of the TEC-150-8 machine is up to 219.1 mm (8”) for operated pipes of 33.7–550 mm (1'' – 20'' IPS) size. The machine drills the elliptical guide hole, creates a collar from the run tube and straightens the collar to 168.3 mm (6''). Guide holes larger than 168.3 mm (6'') are burned manually, for example with a plasma cutting tool before inserting the tube into the machine.

Changes compared to the main TEC-150 machine:

• Larger straightening unit, lift arm and positioning device for centering the guide hole / run pipe relative to the machine.
• larger machine spindle
• The standard machine cannot be extended up to 219 mm capacity.
